The Poets Tool - The Words of Emily Dickinson Essays

The Poets Tool - The Words of Emily Dickinson A poet couched in mystique and controversy--that is Emily Dickinson. But amidst all the disagreement, one idea critics seem to agree upon is the recognition of this remarkable poets love of language. Emily Dickinsons love affair with words fed her desire to master their use whether individually or combined in phrases until they said exactly what she wanted them to say. For Emily Dickinson words were a fascination and, in her hands, they become the poets tool. The Gospel of John opens with the statement, In the beginning was the word (1:1). Donald Thackrey takes this phrase and applies it to Emily Dickinsons fascination with the individual word (1). She is one of†¦show more content†¦In one poem Emily Dickinson wrote specifically about the choice and use of specific words (Thackrey 11). Shall I take thee, the Poet said To the propounded word? Be stationed with the Candidates Till I have finer tried -- The Poet searched Philology And when about to ring For the suspended Candidate There came unsummoned in -- That portion of the Vision The Word applied to fill Not unto nomination The Cherubim reveal -- (#1126) This poem does much to enlighten readers as to Dickinsons careful search for words and suggests the relationship between rational labor and inspiration both of which pervade her poetry (Thackrey 11). She discovered that the most ordinary word, tenderly nurtured int he minds rich soil, could become a signifier of utmost mysteries (Weisbuch 1). Cristanne Miller uses the fullness of word meaning to interpret How many time these low feet staggered -- (#187) where she notes that the word low also means flame in Dickinsons 1841 Websters dictionary (Juhasz 135). The idea of flaming poetic feet in line one helps to explain the soldered mouth of the second line: poetic feet are spoken, and flame solders; poetry burns the reader, or poet, into silence . . . . the poem of death becomes a poem of celebration: death brings the housewife rest, and the staggering poetry removes its reader, or creator,Show MoreRelated Inspiration and Manipulation Essay2655 Words   |  11 PagesInspiration and Manipulation Emily Dickinson is a poet of great interest because she is one of a handful of artists that â€Å"refuse to conform to the Anglo-American literary traditions† (Howe 11). Global Marketing for Cultures and Religion -myassignmenthelp

Question: Discuss about theGlobal Marketing for Cultures and Religion. Answer: Steps to Overcome Challenges It was seen that ASEAN Association was facing two most crucial challenges in its formation and meeting of its intention, which it proposed while forming the association among various countries. The two most recognized challenges that the association faced is the increasing demand of low skilled labor and rising income inequality. Further, the association also faced the challenges from the social cultural perspective as the countries that formed part of the association was from various cultures, religion and others. Thus, it is necessary to overcome these challenges in order to take the association a successful move. The first challenge that the association can overcome is by educating the organization about the actual work of skilled labor in their business and other measures they can take to reduce cost (Stroupe and Kimura 2015). This is done to reduce the scenario of inequality in the country. Moreover, the association can form meeting between nations and help them decide the goods in which they have a competitive advantage. This is done to makes each nation realize the type of labor they need for their manufacturing activity. This makes the demand for skilled labor less in some of the countries. This is because countries having competitive advantage in goods that uses capital more that labor will not demand much labor. This will control the demand for labor and companies will realize other methods by which it can reduce their production cost. Instead of using low cost labor companies can use modern technologies which will help them to do various task in one tool. This will reduce their cost of hiring labor. On the other hand, reduction in the demand for low cost labor ill reduce the income inequality in a region as labors will be paid the amount they deserved. Thus, this solves the further problems rising due to increasing income inequalities (Broinowski 2016). The social cultural challenges that the company faced in relation to cultural gap between different religions can be solved by properly educating the members. The association should educate the ministers of the member nation of ASEAN because they are the major factor in the country that influences their citizen. Education is the best way religious discrimination can be solved between countries. Moreover, the member of ASEAN needs to travel across borders in order to know the diverse culture and tradition of the other countries associated with ASEAN. The association should make sure that the ASEAN nation trade between them and learn about each others tradition and languages. This will help ASEAN to cope up with the problems arising from culture and religious diversity. For the purpose, the association has also removed restriction from visa facility so that more and more number of people can travel in their partner company. This will help various ASEAN countries to interact with each o ther and solve the racial discrimination and religious problems that are arising in ASEAN. However, roads and other transport infrastructure that is missing in these regions need to be developed in order to facilitate the free movement of people and goods (Sukma 2014). The association has also been criticized of the view of integrating the ten nations. It is near to impossible to integrate these nations due to the political differences they face. This is because there are nations those are politically unstable and it is not possible to integrate these nations with the developed ones. This is because the developed nation would not like to integrate their economy with the unstable economies because it might hit their activities badly. Thus to overcome this challenge ASEAN should clear its objectives that it aims to bring the underdeveloped nation close to developed nation financially by promoting their activities and making them stable (Acharya 2014). Conclusion From the above discussion, it can be deduced that ASEAN that was established in 1967 with the aim to create economic development, social protection and cultural expansion was successful in its work and effort. The association took the commitment of building collaboration and trust between nations, which was lacking between nations. Thus, it formed association between five member countries with the aim to crating a better world. The progress of the association can be seen from the economic development that the nation attained after the introduction of ASEAN. The economic development of the member countries has crossed the GDP of rest of the world in context of growth in the year the association was formed. This marked the success of the association since 1970s. Further, there were other improvements as well such as income growth, better standard of living, competitive strength and reduction in poverty. These are the benefit that ASEAN offered to its member nation after they took part and worked according to the structure of the ASEAN. On financial terms, as well the countries have benefitted from the association such an in trade, capital formation and others. This helped the company to form the third largest labor force in the world. From the political end, as well the association has benefitted its member nations by offering facility to settle the dispute between nations peacefully. This has enabled them to grow in a better and fast way. However, the success of the association also met with certain challenges and problems such as high-income inequality due to high demand for low cost skilled labor and cultural differences between member nations. Thus, it is recommended that educating the member nation about their competitive advantage and helping them understand the role of modern machinery in production. Moreover, allowing international movement of people to member nations and learning their culture and languages to develop a liking for all kinds of culture. T hus, all the member nations will get the chance to know each other and reduce the disparity of culture that they face between each other. ASEAN should thus be able to reduce these challenges as well I order to be a successful association in the world.v References Acharya, A., 2014.Constructing a security community in Southeast Asia: ASEAN and the problem of regional order. Then a teammate would be a fellow member of the team. All this can be eliminated through simple principles. These principles will enhance the work place and give each person the self-esteem and confidence to strive for their best without the negatives that are ingrained into todays system of indecision and untrusting ways. Deming gave many examples how management is the key to the team. Goals and tools to accomplish these goals are authorized or denied through management. This paper will show examples of Demings Points in practice toward a military goal. Here are a few of the Deming Points viewed against the backdrop of the military on a small scale, but could easily be broadened to engulf the entire government prospective. Improvement can be accomplished all around us: in the supply system, in the way we perform inspections, training our new people, and the attitudes between departments or shops. The practice of awarding a contract to a different supplier each time an m is needed or contract is written is appalling. Each time an equipment item is required the supply system looks for the item in its stock. When the particular item is not found then appropriate suppliers are then linked associated by their ability to deliver the required material or item. The system the ranks the suppliers by: last time used, minority owned company, handicapped people working there, etc. A new supplier does not always produce the same widget as the one bought from another supplier. For instance: a fuse can be supplied by almost anyone able to make a fuse, but when a piece of equipment specifies a two ampere fifteen volt slow-blow fuse, then that is what is required. Not any type fuse will do. Then some have the fuse needed but they only last a few operating hours and others have a much longer capability. There is definitely a difference in the specified item received, no matter how identical they seem. Cost and variance in supplier seem to be the norm. This practice of getting different item each time drags down the continuity and the quality of the end product. By changing the front end materials this reduces the quality by adding another red bead to the mix. When a white bead is ordered and needed, then a white bead is need to accomplish the mission or goal. Just because twelve or two hundred different distributors have the same item does not mean that they are identical in quality, such as endurance ability, etc. Availability of the material will also come into play, does this supplier have the items ready at all times? Does he/she know the needs of the customer? When two groups of people get into an agreement together they start helping each other by being there for each other. Whenever their needs grow or wane then they can compensate by adjusting whichever way, and this also helps adjust the longer the relationship lasts the better the quality of service and quality of the items supplied. If the supplier will become knowledgeable as to how many, about when, etc. then this will become an excellent source of widgets or whatever. When the technician orders from the same company a couple of times then he/she becomes very comfortable and satisfied with the product that is received from the supplier. The customer always wants to know what they are .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .postImageUrl , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:hover , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:visited , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:active { border:0!important; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:active , .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u9d2bcb280820dd3e8b923fbe24617b0c:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Juvenile Delinquency Essayordering is to the specifications that THEY need.
